Page Archive

Protecting your data.

The page archive function allows you to create a backup of the content in any page.  To do this follow these steps:

Creating a backup:

1. Click the 'Page Archive' button on the toolbar. Archive ICon
2. Enter a reason for creating this particular backup.
3. Click the 'Create' button.

Your backup will now be created, and accessible in the 'restore a backup list'.

To restore a past backup.

1. Click the 'Page Archive' button on the toolbar. 
2. Collapse the 'Restore a backup' section by clicking on the: Tree Node Icon icon.
3. Select the correct backup you wish to 'Restore' on the under the 'Restore?' column.
4. You may also view the contents of this backup before performing the action by clicking the 'Show' button in the list.
5. When ready - click 'Apply' to perform the backup.

Your page will now be reverted to the backup you created.  You may also choose to delete any old backups, as if you back up regularly they can contribute to your website space allocation.

Note: Currently this feature only saves a pages content - not its layout or style.
