Inform Users

Keeping your contacts updated.

By using the 'Inform Users' feature you are able to setup automated email messages that will go out to other Pepperio users on your site, depending on a set condition.

You can for example create a condition upon where a page is deleted by somebody in your team, another team member is notified.  To do this follow these steps:

Setting a condition:

1. First, select 'On Delete' from the drop down menu. 
2. Tick the 'Event is active' box.

3. Enter an appropriate subject header for the email and include a message.
4. The %LINK% text will automatically put a URL to that page into the message wherever you decide to place it (optional).

5. Select the person or group you wish to include as a recipient.
6. Select the right arrow to include them in the message.

7. When you are finished, click the OK button.

Your condition is now set, and whenever this page is deleted, the recipients will recieve the email you setup.You may manually send any of the conditions at any time by clicking the 'Send Message' button.

Selecting and stopping a condition:

To stop a current condition, simply follow these steps.

1. Click the 'Inform Users' feature button.
2. Select the condition you have previously setup in the drop down menu. The condition will be loaded into the page.
3. Un-tick the 'Event is Active' box.
4. Click OK to save your changes.

Note: you may also modify any other settings in an existing condition at any time. You may also apply the condition settings to any page underneath the one you are viewing by clicking 'Propagate'.
